Saclepea is a village in central Nimba County, Liberia. A market town of 15,000 at the time of the Liberian Civil War in 2003, it is situated between the villages of Ganta and Tapita (also spelled Tapeta). [1] It is located 285 km northeast of Monrovia, the capital of Liberia. Saclepea was part of the Peace Corps program during the mid 60s to the late 70s.
