[edit] Early days
During his early years within ISKCON, Sacinandana Swami performed the service of translating Prabhupada’s books from the English language into German. After some time he joined the main sankirtana (book distibution) party in Germany and was instrumental in developing the congregational preaching throughout Germany especially and also other countries within Northern Europe. The Gauranga Bhajana and Nityananda Bhajana groups both came together as a result. In later years, Sacinandana Swami helped start various farm communities and projects around Europe, including the Goloka Dhama project in Germany.[6]
[edit] Travels
Sacinandana Swami has made a number pilgrimages to holy places in India, often traveling to Vrindavan for intensive 'japa' retreats. He also visited Badrinath, Kedaranath, Gangotri, Mount Kailash, Ahobalam, Sri Rangam, Melkote, and Tirupati throughout his travels.[5]
[edit] Academic Service
In terms of educational development within ISKCON,[7] Sacinandana Swami has conducted classes at the Vaisnava Institute for Higher Education[8] and the Bhaktivedanta College project at Radhadesh.[9] His new emphasis in this field lies in the 'Veda Academy',[10] which presents the culture of Krishna consciousness through Vedic sciences, art, and philosophy. The Veda Academy is already active in eight countries, and promises to influence many more.[11]
