Sachin Pilot (born September 7, 1977) is an Indian member of Parliament. He represents the Dausa constituency of Rajasthan and is a member of the Indian National Congress.

Sachin Pilot is a member of the OBC Gujjar caste. He is a son of late Rajesh Pilot who belonged to Indian National Congress. He went to Air Force Bal Bharti School in New Delhi and then completed his B. A.(Hons) degree from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. While in college, Pilot was the captain of the college shooting team. He then received his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania , U.S.A..

On returning to India, he was inducted into the congress party on the 10 February 2002, which is the birthday of his late father Rajesh Pilot. A massive farmers rally was organized to mark this occasion. On 13 May 2004, Sachin Pilot was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha (Lower House) from the Dausa Parliamentary Constituency of Rajasthan, with a margin of over 1.2 lac votes. At 26 years of age he became the youngest Member of Parliament in the country. He is a member of the Parliaments Standing Committee on Home Affairs. He is also a member of the consultative committee in the ministry of Civil Aviation.

He married Sara Abdullah, daughter of Kashmir politician Farooq Abdullah in 2004. [1]
