[edit] Baghdad naming issue

We have policy WP:UE that states that if an English name is well established it should be used. We use Moscow not Moskva, etc. It seems to be the case with Baghdad.

If you have arguments against it please start WP:RM but not edit war to single handedly move an important article against consensus Alex Bakharev 00:01, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Baghdad is the common form of the name in English and this is the English wikipedia. --Mardavich 00:16, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
