Sabayad

Sabayad or Kimis is a type of flatbread eaten in Somalia. It is closely related to the paratha.

This bread is very common in the Somali cuisine and it is usually eaten during breakfast or dinner. It is made from a dough of flour, water and salt. Like the paratha, it is rolled into rough squares or circles and then quickly fried on a pan.But mainly the sabayad gets done in the somali traditional way which gives the sabayah the best delicious taste.
