Sa'id Bahaji

American intelligence analysts asserted that Sa'id Bahaji was an al Qaida facilitator who arranged forged travel documents, tickets, for European Muslims interested in traveling to Afghanistan to attend Al-Qaeda training camps.[1]

The factors in favor of the continued detention of Guantanamo captive Ahmed Bin Kadr Labed assert that Sa'id Bahaji played a key role in his travel to Afghanistan.[1]

Labed, an Algerian national, living in Europe on forged identity papers, met Bahaji in Germany during Ramadan in late 2000.[1] Bahaji and Labed are alleged to have traveled together to Afghanistan shortly before September 11, 2001. One of the allegations against Labed was:

"Bahaji allegedly facilitated the false identification papers, cash, visa and transportation for the hijackers of the 11 September 2001 attacks. He also networked with other al Qaida cells around the world to fine tune the attacks on 11 September 2001."
