Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is one of the premier B-Schools in India. Located in Andheri, a suburb of Mumbai, it offers several post-graduate programs in Business Management and an acclaimed Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA), which attracts senior executives from India's best corporates.

It is named after Sahu Shreyans Prasad Jain of the Sahu Jain family^[1].

SPJIMR has two international campuses in Dubai and Singapore, under the name SP Jain Center of Management (SPJCM) which offer a high-end fulltime Global MBA program and a two year Executive MBA program. The Dubai campus was inaugurated in Dubai Knowledge Village in 2004 and the Singapore campus was inaugurated in 2006.

Inaugurated in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, SPJIMR had modest beginnings as a small extension of the Bhavan's campus, which conceptualised it. Soon with subsequent batches, the institute grew to have a campus of its own and accommodation quarters for the students.

The institute has been consistently ranked among the top 10 B-schools in India. The unique methodology, of incorporating community service into management education, adopted by the institute has won several laurels from the industry, society and the academic fraternity.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), formerly known as Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), is the flagship two-year, full time, residential programme. The emphasis of the programme is to develop in the candidate the ability to translate theory into practice. It aims at promoting an inquiring & analytical mind, which proactively seeks the right knowledge, acquires the appropriate skills and promotes the right attitude to develop capabilities needed to manage enterprises in the twenty-first century. This programme is now in its 25th year and has a number of successful alumni in senior positions across the industry. The programme offers specializations in finance, operations, marketing and information management and is ranked among the top ten in the country. The PGDM curriculum is enriched by inclusion of courses such as ADMAP (Assessment and Development of Managerial and Administrative Potential) and DOCC (Development of Corporate Citizenship) which differentiate SPJIMR participants from those of other B-Schools.

Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Managemeent & Masters in Information Technology (PGDSM-MIT) Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management (PGDSM) & Masters in Information Technology (MIT) is a unique program offered by SPJIMR in collaboration with Virginia Tech (VT). It provides high class US education in Information Technology Management in India to address specific needs of the Industry. The programme leads to Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management (PGDSM) regarded highly by Top Indian IT companies and Masters in Information Technology (MIT) from Virginia Tech, US.

Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), earlier known as Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), is a one year, full-time, residential programme. The mission of the programme is to create and nurture value-based future leaders taking on higher management roles in transforming organizations.

SPJIMR perceived the need of the industry for thought leaders in middle level management and successfully endeavored to create the PGPM course. The programme, now in its third year of inception, has challenged the paradigm of conventional part time courses for working executives. Participants gain management perspectives through an innovative pedagogy of experiential learning and enhanced peer interaction. The programme offers a platform for learning and exchange of ideas with expert faculty. The renowned faculty at the institute facilitates innovative thinking through practical academic inputs and thought-provoking case studies.
