Hi, I’m a student living in Washington. I’ve always loved the idea of Wikipedia. (So much to learn!) It reminds me of the writers in Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series, who try to catalog all human knowledge. I am a clasical music composer, and am interested in just about anything to do with music. Other interests include parkour, poetry, and biology.
Although I can be found working on many different articles and I patrol the reference desks, my primary specialty on Wikipedia is with music related subjects. I’m especially involved with articles relating to 20th century classical music, composers, and music theory. If you have any questions for me or would just like to say hi, please don’t hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page.
My user name―S.dedalus―comes from James Joyce’s novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and its sequel Ulysses. Both are amazing books and defiantly an inspiration for me. I am happy that this user name was not previously taken.
