[edit] Talk:Robert Latimer

I have read the article and it seems impeccably referenced. If there are statements that you believe are false, you can discuss them on the article talk page, place the note {{citation-needed}} after the sentence in question. That will produce a little message like this: [citation needed]. If you have material that you believe is missing from the article, please add it, but only along with providing a reliable source (WP:Reliable sources) to verify your statement. For example, you have tried to add the statement that he was the only person in Canadian history to be given a life sentence for a mercy killing. In order to include this statement, we would need to find an individual reliable source that gives this statement. You said that the facts are suppressed and distorted by the editors of this article. In fact, this article is one of the better referenced articles that I have seen. Also, Wikipedia only includes material that has already been previously published by another reliable source. We can't include novel information. Hopefully this helps to explain why your edits have not been included and what you can do to help improve Wikipedia. Sancho McCann 17:57, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
