[edit] Serious error

The original contributor to the article mentioned the creator of the Kirloskarwadi complex as Shantanurao Laxmanrao Kirloskar and further edits seem to have continued the same. However, according to [1] and other authoritative sources, the founder is Laxmanrao Kirloskar (full name: Laxmanrao Kashinath Kirloskar) and that Shantanurao is his eldest son. I will make the changes accordingly through a mix of move and re-directs. However, the stamp referred to in the article is commemorative of Shantanurao Laxmanrao Kirloskar [2] and the information would be retained in Shantanurao's article. --Gurubrahma 17:42, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

Now, it has been corrected (after my edits) in terms of factual accuracy. Also, the clean-up tag may be removed, imo. Any comments??

[edit] first Indian to graduate from MIT ?

This challenge was on the article page. I mvoed it hear and added a fact template to the claim otherwise. RJFJR 20:20, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

The first Indian to graduate from MIT was Birendra Chandra Gupta in 1907 (S.B., Electrical Engineering).
