S. "Sundi" Sundaresh

S. "Sundi" Sundaresh is the CEO of Adaptec. S. "Sundi" Sundaresh became president of Adaptec in May 2005. Prior to that, he had been the company's executive vice president of product development and worldwide marketing.

Most recently, Mr. Sundaresh was the president and CEO of Candera Inc., where he launched the industry's first network storage controller. As president and CEO of Jetstream Communications, he pioneered voice over broadband and achieved the leading market share with the company's solutions. During a previous tenure at Adaptec, Mr. Sundaresh served in a number of positions, including corporate vice-president and general manager for the Personal I/O division and corporate vice president of worldwide marketing. He has also held various positions at Hyundai Electronics, HP, and National Semiconductor.

Mr. Sundaresh holds a B'Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
