S. Jay Plager was a Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He was appointed by George H.W. Bush in 1989.
He received his Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida. He was also in the U.S. Navy and earned the rank of Commander before he was discharged. It should also be noted that he has authored numerous articles and books. He currently sits as a Senior Circuit Judge. [1]
