S. H. Rider High School

S.H. Rider High School is a public school in Wichita Falls, Texas (USA). It is part of the Wichita Falls Independent School District and is one of the district's three high schools.
Located at 4611 Cypress Avenue in southwestern Wichita Falls, the school serves students in grades nine through twelve.
The school mascot is a Raider.
The nickname "ROHO" was a name given to the school back in the 1960's when the school first opened. It stands for "Ride On Honorable Ones."
It has a long standing cross-town rivalry with Old High. (Wichita Falls High School)

As of the 2005-2006 school year, Rider High had a total of 1,779 students (81.6% White, 9.2% Hispanic, 5.6% African American, 3.0% Asian/Pacific Islander, and 0.6% Native American). 19.5% of the students are considered economically disadvantaged.

Based on the accountability ratings released by the Texas Education Agency on August 1, 2007, Rider High is currently rated "Academically Acceptable".
