[edit] Children's rights

Regarding the article on children's rights, please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies on disruptive editing, neutral point of view and conflict of interest. • Freechild'sup? 20:08, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Further to the above, and your edit summary in which you accused the above user of vandalism, please be aware that this is a content dispute and not vandalism by Freechild. Please be careful about making accusations of vandalism. Thank you. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 20:36, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 20:45, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

This is the conflict of interest policy referred to - If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 20:57, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Please have a read of this article WP:COOL. What I did is commonplace in content disputes on wikipedia, which is to restore an article to what appears to be the last good version until the content dispute is resolved. It has nothing whatsoever to do with being an authority on a subject. In addition will you please stop attacking other editors in edit summaries and on talk pages. Attacking me when I am neutral on the matter in your edit summary (and using words such as "No authority on subject - what authority do you quote for deleting my content" is hardly conducive to sorting this out, never mind missing the point which is the article should be restored to how it was before this edit war started. Take a breath, calm down and try and deal with this in the correct manner. Have a look at this which should also help - WP:DR. I notice however that you have again chosen to revert the article. I will ask you one final time to stop. You have already broken the 3RR. My edits were simply to try and stop the constant edit warring on the article until the content dispuet is resolved. Please calm down, read about how wikipedia works before you carry on as you are doing yourself no favours at all. The article needs to be restored to how it was before, not because I think your edits are incorrect but simply because that is how things are done to sort out content disputes. This needs to be resolved and your refusal to accept that is hampering any resolution not helping it. Thank you.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 21:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 21:23, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] April 2008

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31h in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for for edit warring at Children's rights. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. seicer | talk | contribs 21:24, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
I have removed your block and page protected Children's rights. I highly suggest you use the discussion page to gain consensus for your edits, and to refrain from using your IP addresses for abuse. Further violations will result in a longer block. seicer | talk | contribs 21:29, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "valid meaningful value added to topic"

Decline reason: "Although this is no excuse for edit warring, you are not currently blocked (directly). If you are still unable to edit non-protected pages, please follow the instructions. Note, though, that further edit warring will result in an extended block. — Yamla (talk) 21:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

A proper review of the valuable content that I have added to this wikipedia web page has been vandalized by people unfamiliar with the subject matter. This webpage was Americanized at best and quotes an American politician currently running for office whose comment was not releveant or significant ot the subject matter of the page.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 2008 S-MorrisVP (talkcontribs) 22:35, 1 April (UTC)

As I have pointed out to you numerous times now, my only involvement was to try and stop the edit war between yourself and Freechild by restoring the article to what appeared to be the last good version before the edit war. I did not comment on your edits at all one way or the other, nor state that I disagreed with your edits, nor did I state, nor evern imply, that I thought you were wrong. I am sure that all your edits were made in good faith however I was trying to stop the edit war between you and Freechild which had been going on since 30th March, an edit war that was not getting resolved by the two of you constantly reverting each others edits. By reverting it to the last good version and asking the two of you to discuss it on the talk page I was trying to help both you and Freechild. Your constant edit warring (and I mean both of you not just you) has resulted in the article now being locked. You and Freechild need to resolve your differences so that thye article can move forward, but I would be grateful if you would please stop making asccusations about my edits when all I was trying to do was stop the edit war.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 21:44, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] You've been mentioned at the Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard

Hello S-MorrisVP. You are welcome to join the discussion there and give your own opinion. It would be helpful if you would limit yourself to editing with just one account, because otherwise it is confusing for those who wish to have conversations with you. The WP:COIN discussion lists some other accounts you appear to have used. EdJohnston (talk) 06:08, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

As a notice, you are now limited to one account: this one. If you abuse any other accounts or IP addresses, they will be blocked on-sight with little or no warning. seicer | talk | contribs 06:23, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Paternity fraud

Hi. In April you made some contributions to this article, to the section 'Paternity fraud as a form of domestic violence'; I feel there are issues with this section's neutrality, and have added the 'POV' template. Your comments are welcome at Talk:Paternity fraud#'POV' template. Terraxos (talk) 17:21, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
