São Mateus, Espírito Santo

Coordinates: 18°42′57″S, 39°51′32″W São Mateus is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo. Its population was 101,051 (2005) and its area is 2,343.25 km².[1] São Mateus is located at 36 meters above sea level.
