Ryu Shionoya

Ryu Shionoya (塩谷 立? born 1950) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka and graduate of Keio University, he was elected for the first time in 1990. After losing the seat in 1996, he was re-elected in 1999 but lost the seat again in 2000. He was once again re-elected in 2003.
He serves as Secretary General of the Japan Scout Parliamentary Association.
