I'm a bit troubled by the use of content from Anime News Network. If they are using an agreeable liscense or if information like lists of roles isn't applicable to copyrights (I'm by no means an expert on the subject), please correct me. Just voicing a concern. Thanks! -PoptartKing 05:50, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
You are referring to the trivia from there or something else? If you mean lists of roles then I think that falls under common knowledge, since it is out there perhaps scattered in seventy places or more but it is all out there anyway. So long as they are cited as a resource AND so long as none of them complain then why worry? If and only if they complain do I think there is a concern but if they do then I think most of what is on here from anyone has to be taken down since I think a lot of it comes from sites most don't put as a resource. Do you not agree? Ryokosha 05:54, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Okey, reasoning's sound. Just wanted to double-check. Thanks for clearing that up. -PoptartKing 06:04, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Not a problem, I just think it is good to be cautious but not worry until there is a reason to worry if that makes sense, and sorry for posting in two places, just wasn't sure where to post to make sure it read as you were getting it. Ryokosha 06:08, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] On the Topic if Onpu will be on the Show
Hullo there Ryokosha! ^^ I saw your 'note' beside Onpu's dub name, and I have to say I deleted it. It's actually been confirmed that Onpu will be in the show - her dub name, and I think even her debut episode title and fairy name have been released. Just thought I'd tell you if you were wondering where your edit went. ^^; Amina 23:05, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- I think you have the wrong person I don't remember putting a "note" beisdes that, wait what show was this for? I thank you for telling me but I think you have the wrong person. Ryokosha 23:25, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Really? I'm so sorry, then! I had automatically assumed it was you after I saw you had made the last edit in that section. I'll have to check who did it then... thanks for telling me, and sorry I thought it was you! Amina 00:43, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- Not a problem I thank you again for telling me about it even though it wasn't me that did it. Ryokosha 04:18, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Shinobuden.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Shinobuden.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 17:05, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Last Hope
Well, I decided it's not a stub according to WP:STUB#Essential information. It's longer than 10 sentences, and it doesn't fit into one page in my browser :) I also tend to remove stub tags from anime/manga articles which contain a plot summary and "Characters" section (I'm going through Cat:Anime and manga stubs looking for something to put into its subcategories.) Conscious 18:10, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- There is an intermediate level between a stub and a completed article (if I may say so, because articles here are never completed), and in my opinion Last Hope is there.
- To clarify: I have nothing personal against anime in general and Last Hope in particular. I tend to remove stub tags from all articles around that length (there are exceptions, for example, articles that contain a couple of phrases and a long list of publications/characters/episodes/songs/etc).
- If you want to draw more attention to this article, be aware that there are other types of tags like {{expand}} that you can use. Also, find a good category for it, and see the anime Wikiproject for more ideas. Conscious 08:09, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Possibly unfree Image:LunaVolume1a.jpg
- If the copyright holder gave permission for the image to be used on Wikipedia, you should add a note about that on the image's talk page (if you got written permission in, say, an e-mail, maybe a copy of that as well). And adding {{withpermission}} below the other copyright tag.
- Please also note that the image is currently not used in any article, and unused image with fair use tags are usually deleted... --Fritz S. (Talk) 09:16, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Angeltales.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Angeltales.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:37, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Leigh Anderson Fisher
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}
" template to the article Leigh Anderson Fisher, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 23:59, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

- FYI, Ryokosha, I went into the Read or Dream image wikipages and put up what I think is the appropriate non-free/fair use templates, and appropriately credited the images to Shueisha, the copyright holders (which I think was what was notably missing). I didn't delete the bot's dispute message, but I did inform the editors via the Betacommandbot talk page. Hopefully that should fix the issue. DeathQuaker (talk) 19:27, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Little context in Josh Meyer
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Josh Meyer, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Josh Meyer is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Josh Meyer, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
