Ryosuke Irie

Ryosuke Irie (入江陵介; born January 24, 1990 in Osaka prefecture) is a Japanese swimmer.

- 1990 - Started swimming with baby swimming lessons at the age of 0. Then went on with his profession, backstroke.
- March 4, 2005 - Ryosuke beats Japan's middle school record (at the time) in 100 m and 200 m backstroke (times were 57.056 s for 100 m and 2:02.074 min for 200 m).
- 2005 - Ryosuke wins the high school competition in Japan in 200 m backstroke (in Grade 10).
- December 4, 2006 - Ryosuke wins a gold medal with the time of 1:58.85 in 200 m backstroke at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
- August 2007 - Ryosuke attended his first world swimming competition, International Swim Meet 2007 in Japan. On August 22, he beat the previous high school record in 100 m backstroke with the time of 54.074 s. The next day, he beat another high school record in 200 m backstroke with the time of 1:57.030.
