Ryohei Chiba (千葉涼平 Chiba Ryouhei?) (born November 18, 1984) is a Japanese singer and dancer from the band w-inds, with Ryuichi Ogata, and Keita Tachibana. His hometown is Sapporo, Japan.

Chiba was chosen along with Ogata Ryuichi to join ASAYAN Idol Contest 2000 winner Keita Tachibana in forming the pop group w-inds. where he would be a backup dancer. However both backup dancers also contribute to songs through backup singing, small solos and rapping.

Chiba is a very proficient breakdancer and classes it as his most favorite hobby. He likes to learn, and was accepted into one of the leading High Schools in his hometown of Sapporo. He is said to be very friendly but at the same time very introverted. Other members have commented that he sometimes is not so confident about himself.

Chiba enjoys dancing and snowboarding, and can also play the bass guitar.

Chiba attended Kitashiroishi Elementary School, Kitashiroishi Middle School and Kitashiroishi High School in Sapporo. He completed his first year in Kitashiroishi High School before transferring to a High School in Tokyo. He mentioned in March of the 2003 Fan Club Event (FC) that he did not attend the graduation ceremony.

Chiba had his first concert solo during "PRIME OF LIFE TOUR" in 2004, which he rapped and sang "Stand Your Ground," penned by himself. However, this track was never recorded on any album.
