Rye House Kart Circuit

Rye House Kart Circuit is a karting circuit in Rye House, near Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, England,and is adjacent to the Rye House Stadium
The circuit is one of the oldest in the country, and has been driven by many of the big names in motorsport, including Jenson Button, Anthony Davidson, and Lewis Hamilton.[1]
It hosts many events throughout the year; from Arrive and Drive karting sessions, endurance races, and many other activities.
[edit] Hoddesdon Kart Club
On the first weekend of each month, there is a race meeting held by the Hoddesdon Kart Club [2] This is an MSA [3] approved kart club, and hosts many classes, from Cadets to Seniors.

In October, the club run an event called the London Cup. Last year this was televised on Motors TV, and received a large number of entries from competitors across the UK and Ireland. This year, the following classes will be:

[edit] Circuit Improvements
Recently, the circuit has undergone some major refurbishments. The track was resurfaced in early 2003, and since then there has been a new cafe and hospitality areas added. In between the March and April MSA meet, a new covered grandstand was built at Stadium Bend, the fastest corner on the circuit.
