[edit] Ryan Rider

This article does not meet Wikipedia's notability standards for biographies. In addition, it was recreated several times after its initial speedy deletion, which explains why it has been locked. 20:12, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

During the DRV discussion it was suggested that such a page like this is appropriate for your userpage, so I have posted it at User:Ryanrider. But, please do not put it back into the main article space. Sjakkalle (Check!) 12:16, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Main Event Radio Pages

Back in May, several pages I made on the Main Event radio show were deleted. It took me many hours to do, and I was wondering if it would be possible to re-obtain the data for my own personal usage. This includes The Main Event (radio show), Ilan "The Viz" Preisler, BJG, and Gavin "the loose Cannon" Schwartz. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryanrider (talkcontribs)

The only way to reobtain that information would be if an admin undeleted the page and then placed the information on a subpage of your own. And please remember that in the future, you should only place {{helpme}} on your own talk page (this page). Ryūlóng 04:47, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Hello Ryan. I saw your request on my talk page. The Main Event (radio show) was deleted by AfD (see [1]). I've moved the contents of the deleted page to User:Ryanrider/The Main Event for your own reference. Cheers. --Fang Aili talk 13:20, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks!!

I have to tell you though, WP:NOT a free webhost, and as you don't contribute (or have contributed very little) to Wikipedia mainspace, The Main Event should probably be deleted. Wikipedia is, first and foremost, and encyclopedia, and if you'd rather not contribute I suggest you post your article elsewhere. Thanks. --Fang Aili talk 21:01, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bob Backlund

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Bob Backlund, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Please find and add a reliable citation to your recent edit so we can verify your work. Uncited information may be removed at any time. Thanks for your efforts, and happy editing! Burntsauce 15:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Bob Backlund. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. -- Mufka (user) (talk) (contribs) 23:08, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Herbert Brownstein

An editor has nominated Herbert Brownstein, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Herbert Brownstein and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. DES (talk) 13:53, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Mike_lyons.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Mike_lyons.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:23, 2 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 13:23, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
