[edit] I am new to this
Hey.
I have been trying to add some contributions to this site, but I can't help but notice that you have repeatedly tagged or deleted my work, I have not finished any of it, and I find it highly disrespectful.
- Just a tip before you write any more then (these are also linked on the warnings above which I find quite respectful) - look at Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations)#Criteria for clubs, societies, and organizations and tell me if the clubs you have written about fit in with this criteria. Bubba hotep 00:17, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Listen, don't take this personally. I know you are trying to do a good job. The nomination for deletion has nothing to do with offense or any such like. It is to do with Notability of subject which you have yet to contest. I'm trying to help by giving you a chance. Please read it. Bubba hotep 00:34, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Can you help me out by putting the article on "Hybrid Elemental" back? You see, it was deleted without notice and I really believe it was not a valid deletion
- Unfortunately, no. Mainly because I know nothing of what it is or why it was deleted. It may have been for much the same reason as above. Wikipedia is not just a collection of information about this and that, it does have rules. It would do you well to have a peek. Let's sleep on it and see what happens tomorrow. And please put ~~~~ at the end of your comments so we know who has said it. Thanks. Bubba hotep 00:42, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Well, I am still quite disappointed, but I acknowledge what you are saying. I understand that Wikipedia is an "online encyclopedia" and I have utilised it in the past. I was reading about and "undeletion policy". Can you enquire about the "Hybrid Elemental" article. It was a small article about a band in Derry. After reading some of the rules for exemption from deletion, i find that it could be an anti-Irish thing. It says any "english men's football club". How come any Irish club is not allowed? It comes across as a bit discriminate. RyannusK 00:48, 29 October 2006 (UTC)RyannusRyannusK 00:48, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Now, don't be making silly comments like "Anti-Irish" - how do you know I'm not Irish? That part obviously doesn't relate to the teams or league you have put on, it's section 1 which applies. Section 2 is there to simplify it for English teams (which there are more of). I'm not Irish, by the way, but statements like that are not doing you any favours. Take it easy. Bubba hotep 00:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
It's just a possibilty that crept into my mind, but thank you anyway, and I hope to figure it all out soon! I knew you weren't Irish because I read your profile! Good night.
- Well, there you go jumping to conclusions again. My user page says I live in England. I know plenty of Irish people who live in England. ;) Now, don't go getting into any trouble now. If you need to know anything in future, just ask someone. Bubba hotep 00:55, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

- Hey, I appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, but please do not make articles on any simple thing. I deleted your two articles on football clubs because I felt that they were not notable, and I even tried to verify any notability, but my search failed to yield any results. I'm sorry, but please read notability guidelines on Wikipedia before making articles. Thank you, and happy editing! Nishkid64 01:26, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
The way to avoid any trouble on Wikipedia is to always have sources already to hand when creating articles, and to always cite those sources, for best results from the very first edit. That doesn't mean just the band's own MySpace page when creating an article on a band. It means proper articles that have been written, fact checked, and published by reputable people independent of the band and its promoters — feature-length reviews by reputable music journalists, full AllMusic Guide entries, and so forth. If you don't have such sources ready to hand, don't write. Follow this advice, and you'll find (a) that you will automatically avoid bands that don't satisfy our WP:MUSIC criteria and other bad article subjects since there won't be the sources available to write about those subjects, and (b) questions of notability will rarely, if ever, actually arise.
