[edit] Jeff mullen
A tag has been placed on Jeff mullen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, article #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:08, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Kramer111.pdf
Thanks for uploading Image:Kramer111.pdf. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:07, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mediation
A mediation case has been opened in which your name is mentioned. I just signed up as a mediator, pending approval by the involved parties. Please take a look at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/User:Lucky 6.9 reverting his own Talk page. If you would like to be listed as a party, please write your name in the blue box. If you feel you are not involved, please remove your name from the list under "Who's involved?". (In this case, your name will only be allowed to be reinserted if a reason is given.) — Sebastian 22:34, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Update: The original case has been deleted by an involved party. I reported this incidend on administrators' noticeboard (now archived). Since I have not been asked by anyone to investigate this case, I will not pursue it any further. I'm not watching your user page anymore, so please let me know on my talk page if you have any questions or concerns. — Sebastian 20:03, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Additions of http://.donorsiblingregistry.com
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. [edit] An apology
Dear Wendy and Ryan Kramer
I've done work on egg and sperm donor related articles in Wikipedia, some of the edits including sperm donor registration. I've tried to follow the Wikipedia guidelines. However, this apparently has resulted in a conflict between us, a conflict I regard unnecessary, and therefore I'd like us to resolve it.
I got to hear about this conflict as a co-founder of the new Scandindinavian registry, since one of the other members suddenly was excluded from registering in the DRS for participating in the same project as I was. I wouldn't let this strike another persons private life, someone's opportunity to seek his or hers genetic kindred. Therefore, I've left the organization with immediate effect. Still, however, I'm not really sure about what really is the cause of your disapproval. The member you excluded knows more about this than I do - still I find it better to turn directly to you.
If this is all about my creation of a Wikipedia article about donor sibling registration generally, then I can tell that I am sure that such an article draws more readers to Wikipedia, with more readers clicking their way to the proper DSR article. After all, it's the ones most unfamiliar with the subject, perhaps not knowing what such a registry really is, that are the most important readers, and these are the ones that are now facilitated to find their way to you.
Regarding any trademark violation of the Wikipedia article about registries for genetic kindred to find each other, it is now renamed to donor sibling registration to distinguish it from the Donor sibling registry article. If you have any other naming suggestions, feel free to propose them.
It has never been my intention to do any harm to the DSR, and I apologize for causing any misunderstanding, making it seem so.
If there are any other issues, I beg you to turn with them directly to me.
Best regards
