Thanks! Now that I've "fixed" (read: worked around rsvg's stupid subscript bug) the svg, it should be much more pleasing to the eye. --M1ss1ontomars2k4 (T | C | @) 05:59, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
User page editing was a 1-time thing for me. I was originally merely replying to something of his and noticed a few minor issues. Never expected anyone to ever say another word about it. How nice to know I am not the only person who is trying to just make things better. No other motives. Thought that was what WP was supposed to be about. I appreciate the comment from you. Especially after the response I got for my attempt at helping him out. Maybe somehow he got burned before.--SidP 23:05, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I answered your statement at Frank Jardine and supplied a citation. Please review our edits. Regards from another inculsionist, Fred 18:41, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- Despite the date of the above comment, I am serious. I once again invite you to retract your claim and restore the category. Fred 09:47, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, I confess—I did it, you hear? And I'm glad, glad, I tell you! —Ryanaxp 14:48, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- Just for the record: I was being polite(-ish) and giving you advice of my view, considering you pulled it twice during this protracted debate. I am also a bit thin-skinned when it comes to accusations of OR these days, and it is your turn to put it back. Not that I don't appreciate your flippancy, I do. Very droll. Fred 15:06, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. ... and the church bells softly chime
- No worries, I was just thinking how much I like your style. I strongly suspect that wikipedia needs editors like yourself, I appreciate your honesty and humility. You are wrong about my motives, but your intellect earns you a pass from intended sermon. Fred 16:45, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] KSR v. Teleflex at sources
The {{wikisource}} template you added to KSR is a dead link, and I can't find anything on sources that it should be pointing to. Can you take a look? Rl 20:05, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Good to see you have an interest in chemistry and HeLa. Turn on your emails so we can write each other. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) 23:40, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Edencentral01.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Edencentral01.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:54, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Visualpc.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Visualpc.gif. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 17:04, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Eleanor audley.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Eleanor audley.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 218.217.207.82 (talk) 07:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Eleanor audley.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Eleanor audley.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 218.217.207.82 (talk) 07:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Akbar and jeff reduced.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Akbar and jeff reduced.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
