[edit] My edit of you private page

I took the liberty of editing your private page, RyanGerbil10/GermanOverhaul, because the syntax for the template {{shortcut}} is in the process of being updated. Your implementation, which worked previously, broke the new syntax. You can find more information at CAT:SHORTFIX. Best wishes. --DRoll (talk) 23:21, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Lady Aleena's RfA

RyanGerbil10...Thank you for co-nominating me for adminship. Through it I have become aware of a great many people who can help me in my future editing endeavors. Even though I was not promoted, your nomination shows that I have made good contributions to Wikipedia, even they were minor edits to fix spelling and grammar to working in WikiProjects to help others make great articles. If you wish to further discuss the nomination, please use its talk page. Stop by my talk page anytime, even if it is just to say hello. Have a wonderful day! - LA @ 03:51, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion review for Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion/Log/2008_April_26#Template:Seconds_From_Disaster

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion/Log/2008_April_26#Template:Seconds_From_Disaster. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article, speedy-deleted it, or were otherwise interested in the article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. [edit] DRV

With all of the work you've done on TfD, I'll help out in any way I can. I'll take a gander in a bit here. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 04:50, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Greetings!

I mentioned you earlier today. We first interacted over Template:TalibanBounty. I frankly didn't understand the policy at the time. And I appreciate that you were patient in explaining the policy to me.

I now agree with some of the arguments against using tranclusion to include blocks of indentical text and/or images in articles. It imposes too much of a burden on editors, who don't understand how to edit transcluded text.

I just thought I would let you know I thought about you, and I felt appreciative towards you today.

Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 21:58, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Quick Request

Can you delete Template:BluesCaptains as I neglected to add this template (but tagged it during my batch delete) to the batch delete of templates I requested here Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2008 May 2#Hockey Captain templates? The consensus was delete for the hockey captain templates. Thanks. ThePointblank (talk) 03:09, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Championship Templates

Not objecting to your decision at all, as I do agree there needs to be some policy created. But I am trying to figure out what exactly you are suggesting as in your reasoning you are closing it as Delete yet in the end you said you are not deleting them. Are you wanting it to be taken straight to DRV? So that people there can decide? -Djsasso (talk) 03:44, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I support your decision at Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion/Log/2008_May_13#NBA_Championship_Templates not to delete, but actually think you should have rendered a No Consensus summary. The templates look very sloppy with the limbo tags on them. You essentially rendered a decision to not close debate which is highly unusual. Can we get some sort of closure in the sense that the "‹ The template below (Chicago Bulls 1990-91 NBA champions) is being considered for deletion. See templates for deletion to help reach a consensus. ›" statement does not detract from the encyclopedia.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 13:48, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Restore one of the templates you deleted!

I want you to restore Template:Seconds From Disaster because the nominator (User:Dust1235) is a SPA and thus nominated it in bad faith. Proof is that Dust registered 2 mins before nominating. And he never edited again. And, in contrast to what Dust said, there was more than one contributor. I strongly believe that this template was wrongly deleted, and thus, has to be restored.122.54.93.104 (talk) 14:59, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Dude, I don't know what your obsession is, but let it go, the template's gone the community has (incorrectly imo) spoken. I am still wondering like yourself though how exactly SPA nominations are 'discouraged' if they are actually allowed to operate. But go figure, just one of the many policy contradictions around wikipedia. MickMacNee (talk) 15:46, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Underscore

Hi. it looks like you nuked as being redundant to Template:Wrongtitle, however you did not replace the use of it and when I try it seems as though Wrongtitle does not support the use of underscores hence not making Underscore redundant. Therefore I would be happy if you could restore the template. /Lokal_Profil 17:05, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok, looks as though although wrongtitle doesn't work {{DISPLAYTITLE}} might work. So the template isn't nesessary althoug several pages are currently broken since they are using the deleted template. /Lokal_Profil 17:08, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Heyo. I noticed the DRV you opened for the NBA TfD, and just wanted to let you know that opening the DRV before the actual deltion was one of the most sencible things I've seen an admin do in awhile. Good work. Cheers, ➪HiDrNick! 16:59, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
