Ryan Alan Scragg was born on January 15, 1990 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. At the age of five, he and his family moved to their family farm 15 miles east of Prince Albert. Ryan had already showed much interest in farming and his interest continued to grow. At age five he began operating the combine on his own. It was at this time that Ryan began attending Meath Park School. From an early age Ryan showed extraordinary promise. At age seven he began driving other motor vehicles such as the family pickup truck and tractors. Ryan continued to excel in school throughout the course of his elementary school time. He earned many awards and was always in the top of his class.
