[edit] Sophomore season

The 2007 season is underway, so the starting QB should be known by now; this section needs to be updated. Johntex\talk 18:16, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The restaurant "incident"

The temptation here is to post something about the alleged incident that occurred over the weekend of March 29, 2008. However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet by Les Miles. Some media outlets (such as the AM station WJBO and the LSU student paper the Daily Reveille) are reporting the incident took place. However, an article ran in the Advocate on April 2, 2008 contradicting the news being reported. I do not have a link as the article does not seem to be published online, but the transcript of the article reads as such:

Restaurant disputes reports on Perrilloux

Carl Dubois

A restaurant manager disputed radio and TV accounts Tuesday implicating LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux in an alleged incident the reports said would keep Perrilloux from participating in any spring practice.

Scott Aldridge, the manager on duty Sunday at Kona Grill said Perrilloux was in the restaurant Sunday evening but didn't cause a scene, contradicting reports on WJBO radio.

"We had no problems", Aldridge said, adding that police were not called to the restaurant, contrary to talk-radio reports. "None of that is true".

Nathan Fisher, a lawyer who represented Perrilloux and other LSU athletes, said Tuesday afternoon that he had not been notified of any incident involving Perrilloux.

That being said, one thing to keep in mind is that Wikipedia is supposed to be an encyclopedia, not a news source reporting things that allegedly may have happened. Les Miles is scheduled to address the media tomorrow and I believe that we should wait to post anything on the issue for that. Carface (talk) 04:23, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
