I think it's fairly obvious why I added the warnings; the whole tone of the article reads like a well-constructed mickey-taking masquerading as a rabid fan's overpraising. I'm not sure of the accuracy of much of it either. Does anybody want to clean it up? --Robert Merkel 11:30, 24 May 2005 (UTC)
- I do. -EuropracBHIT 03:44, 26 May 2005 (UTC).

- Well, as an example of a fact that needs checking, did Moloney really appear in a once-off role before being cast as Toadfish? --Robert Merkel 03:59, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
- He did (or may have done - I don't see anything which says he didn't, and the fans must have got it from somewhere). It says so on TVTome (which gives the date of the episode as April 6 1994). I am currently checking the Neighbours official site (which gives Australia and the UK but is mostly tailored to UK fans!) and the Network Ten official site.
- Here is some Neighbours history for 1994 from the BBC:
- I didn't see Cyborg as one of the characters who is being talked about, and if it is so early in the life of the show (1994 season), and if the list is organised by chronology (and not most important events) then he should be on the first page. It does refer to characters, not actors.
- Channel Ten gave me TVTome as well. I wonder why?
- IMDB says so too under 'Guest Appearances': http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0597236/
- 'Neighbours Revealed' from 2000 has Moloney (among many others) on it, but I don't know if he talks about being the Cyborg, like in 'The first time I came on Neighbours six years ago I played...' There was another guest star on that episode.

- I find the comments that Ryan is "one of the most recognisable faces on Australian television" and "one of the most popular cast members" to be ridiculous and unverifiable. IMO unless there's a poll or study confirming this, the claims should be removed. According to his IMDb page, the guy hasn't won or been nominated for a single award. If he was THAT popular, he'd have been NOMINATED for a Most Popular Actor Logie at the very least. Also, the claim his popularity is supported by "his frequent appearances on shows like Rove Live" etc is silly. His IMDb listing indicates he has been on Rove twice and the rest of the shows (GMA, The Saturday SHow and Big Breakfast) once only. I don't think that adds up to "frequent appearances". His appearance on those shows doesn't prove anything anyway. It may simply reflect his value in comedy or merely to allow him to promote a show, product or charity. And one does not need to be at all popular or famous to appear on GMA, particularly.Sarahe 01:54, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
