[edit] Vandalism

This article was vandalized. Lots of relevant information was removed by someone who decided it needed to be removed through homophobia, etc. Michaelh2001 00:49, 9 September 2006 (UTC) The information stating a relationship exists between Ryan Donowho and Le-Anne Hamilton appears to be false and was removed 6-5-07.

[edit] Photo of Donowho removed by Wikipedia

The top photo, showing Donowho in a green shirt with one arm over his head, was removed by Wikipedia due to concerns about its copyright.

[edit] Photo of Donowho and his brother used with FULL PERMISSION OF PHOTOGRAPHER AND THE LICENSEE

The photo of Ryan Donowho and his brother in the section titled "Relationship with the gay community" has been used with full and explicit permission of the photographer AND the licensee.

The idea that this image needs to be deleted is absurd. It has been here since January, was posted with full permission of the photographer, etc. Are there "editors" with so much time on their hands that they roam around and look for trouble where none exists? People like me come to Wikipedia, follow the rules and try to make it a better place and this is the thanks we get. If the photo is removed, it will diminish the quality of the overall article. [edit] YouTube link

The link looks redundant... It's available from the main page (here). ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 06:40, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

I think you misunderstood--the first link was a 14 second cut. I replaced it with the full-length link from the official site. JSmith, I don't think it's redundant, because in this case--although the official site,Pagodaonline.com--is also an EL, it is not noted that the drumming link is there. It's fine to have a separate EL for the drumming link which calls attention to it, per due weight: drumming in the subway was particularly notable in the subject's life, per citations. This would be a case in which I would support the use of a YT video as a reference (its original location) but put it in EL to avoid controversy. Editors of this article might disagree--and I think they should feel free to do that.-Cindery 03:07, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

We might be better off linking to pagodaonline/media.php directly... it has a whole bunch diffrent clips. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 18:50, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Per the citations in the article, drumming is particularly significant in the subject's life; highlighting that is useful; specific link of drumming appropriately highlights drumming. In the absence of an objection from a regular editor of this article, I think there's no reason not to leave the link be.-Cindery 18:57, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
