Ryan Devon Torain (born August 10, 1986 in Topeka, Kansas) is an American football running back for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League. Torain was drafted by the Broncos in the 5th round (139th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.[1] He played college football for Arizona State.

Torain attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee Mission, Kansas and was a student and a letterman in football, basketball, and track & field. In football, as a senior, he was a first team All-League selection and an All-State Class 6A selection. Ryan Torain graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 2004.
