Ryan Shelton

Ryan Shelton is an Australian comedy actor and writer.

He attended St Leonards College for a selection of his school years. Ryan started his career in Melbourne's community media scene, hosting and producing shows for Channel 31 and for SYN FM.
With Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, he has written and co-starred on Hamish and Andy (2004) and Real Stories (2006). He was also a co-writer of Chris Lilley's award-winning We Can Be Heroes: Finding The Australian of the Year (2005).
Shelton has appeared twice on the improvisational comedy Thank God You're Here. On the 13th episode he played a celebrity after completing a dance session, (a la Dancing with the Stars) with a pair of ski boots, a spandex outfit, a hula hoop, and an assistant wearing a daring blue dress.
Shelton recently hosted on "Red Hot Go", a late night radio show on FOX FM in Melbourne on Monday nights. The program was anchored by Tim Lee with Celebrity Survivor contestant Amber Petty and comedian Dave Lawson. He is an occasional co-host on Triple M's Get This.
In 2007, he became a cast member on television programme Rove. His signature segment is called 'Rydeas' (pronounced "rye-deers" as in "Ryan's ideas").
In December 2007, Shelton along with Jules Lund and Tamsyn Lewis presented Summer Fling breakfast show across the Austereo Today Network.
In February 2008, Shelton and co-host Katie Dimond (Monte) both joined Nova FM to present a Saturday morning breakfast program Ryan & Monty which airs from 10am to 12pm.
