Ryan McFaul is an award-winning director, editor, and visual effects specialist living in Brooklyn, New York.

McFaul began creating short films while growing up in suburban Maine. He and his friends called their production company Pig Pat Productions, named after a stuffed animal mascot.

McFaul attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied Film and Television Production and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

McFaul began his career as a commercial editor, and in 2005 transitioned into a focus on directing. He has directed commercial spots for the Coca-Cola Company and Sony, and he is currently the director of Adult Swim's Fat Guy Stuck in Internet. McFaul is also a partner in the Seattle-based production company, Southdown Creative.
