Ryan Hughes is a 26 year old college drop out nicknamed Mugabe who won a World Series of Poker bracelet at the 2007 World Series of Poker in the $2,000 Seven-Card Stud High-Low Split (Eight-or-Better) event. Hughes says that he never plays Seven Card Stud, thus he said he's "not a great judge of how good someone is at stud eight-or-better because I don't play it."[1] In February, 2007 Hughes won the Professional Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic.

As of 2007, Ryan Hughes has tournament winning of over $690,000.[2]
