Ryan Heins

Ryan Heins (born March 1, 1985 in Mount Holly, New Jersey) is an American soccer player who currently plays for the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Second Division.

Heins played five seasons with the Ocean City Barons of the Premier Development League. In 2007 he was named the clubs Most Valuable Player. Heins was the first selection for the Philadelphia Kixx in the MISL's expansion draft. After spending one season with Philadelphia he was signed by the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Second Division.

Heins graduated from Temple University with a Marketing Degree in 2007. He played four years at Temple, serving as team captain in 2007. He played in 75 games and scored 8 goals.

He is the brother of actor Trevor Heins, who has been in movies such as Totally Awesome and the television shows Rescue Me and Wonder Showzen.
