[edit] Virginia

Thanks for adding the tidbit about Jacan to Virginia -- is that reference you added (Boyer, et al) the source for that? Let me know and I'll help you with adding the footnote for it, etc. --plange 02:35, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

No worries! It can be confusing when you first start editing here :-) I added it for you to Virginia. For more info, see WP:CITE and if you want to see some Virginia articles with citations in action, see Stephen Trigg or John W. Johnston, both WP:FA articles. --plange 04:53, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hungarian Gold Train

Hi. I see you were the creator of the Harry J. Collins article, the only one that currently links to the article I just created; the Hungarian Gold Train. Great job! I also see you were planning on starting an article on the same topic. Didn't mean to take anyone's project. But if you have anything to add or improve in it, feel free to do so. --Oakshade 05:21, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Robert Porterfield

I've just looked at your article about Robert Porterfield. I'm wandering if you plan to expand on the article and write about the actual founding of Barter Theatre, which to me would be the most important part of the article. In my opinion, much of what is included in the article now is not really necessary. Obviously, you have your own opinion, and I would be glad to hear your thoughts. Are you from the Virginia/Tennessee area? I live in Kingsport, TN, about 45 minutes from Abingdon. I have read the book you reference at the end of your article, and obviously you have also. I received your reply earlier today but have not had time to respond. I just felt like when looking at the article that there was too much detail that could be much more concise. I don't have time today, but perhaps one day in the next few days, I could edit just one paragraph and let you see what you think. Dbart 21:23, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
