A tag has been placed on Mertanz pitch, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. riana_dzasta 01:30, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Romario image

Hi, Ruthless-paki. Are you really the author of this photograph? When did you take it? --Abu badali (talk) 12:31, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Apperantly I did not take this image, it was sent to me from my friend who is not actually a wikipedian. Ruthless-paki 18:39, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
I believe the tag the image is currently using should be changed reflect this. {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-2.5,2.0,1.0}} is not the right one for such occasions. Can you ask your friend to send an e-mail to permissions-en AT wikimedia DOT org explaining he agrees to release this image under such license (creative commons attribution-sharealike and/or gfld)? After that, you may ask an admin to review the image, and he will tag it with {{OTRS ticket}}.
This bureocracy step is needed for protecting Wikipedia for copyright violators. Wikipedia takes copyright issues very seriously and it's important to be able tell violators from people like your friend.
Let me know if you need some help. Kudos to your friend for this nice shot!
Best regards, --Abu badali (talk) 21:12, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your userpage

Hi Adnan, I came across your userpage recently and wish to discuss it with you. Please don't take this the wrong way, but since you are legally a minor, it may not be such a good idea to have a photograph of yourself, as well as your real name, and where you live. Wikipedia is used by thousands of people, and read by millions. We can't censor the sort of people who might be reading it, but hopefully we can help minimise the risks posed to our younger users. Many Wikipedians take this issue very seriously. If I were you, I would reconstruct your userpage with the minimum amount of personal information, and ask an administrator to delete your photograph. If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to ask me. I hope you take my advice, and wish you all the best. Cheers, riana_dzasta 02:40, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Mertanz pitch

A tag has been placed on Mertanz pitch, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Non-notable school playing field

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Pit-yacker 23:41, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright problems with Image:Mertanz.jpg

An image that you uploaded, Image:Mertanz.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Pit-yacker 23:50, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Online Soccer Manager

A tag has been placed on Online Soccer Manager, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WebHamster 15:48, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Forum Screen Shot.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Forum Screen Shot.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:04, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. You may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did to A.C. Milan, makes it harder to read. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — jacĸrм (talk) 10:30, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey, please note that on Wikipedia, we avoid using lists of miscellaneous facts, or trivia sections. If you feel the information is important to the article, and you can provide a verifiable source, please try to put it elsewhere in the article, rather than in a section of it's own. Thankyou, — jacĸrм (talk) 21:01, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

As you requested on my talk page, I am replying here. Images of Muhammad will not be removed from the article. That's our policy and it stands until the policy is changed by consensus. Thanks. - ALLSTAR echo 20:21, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
