Ruthven is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Reservoir, on the Epping railway line. It is in Metcard Zone 2.

The station is located in between High Street and Macarthney Street.

The station consists of two platforms, in an island format. The island platform contains a large fibro building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance of the station, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A subway is located underneath the station.
Both platforms can be accessed via High and Macarthney Streets.

Ruthven Station opened on Monday, 5th August 1963.

There have been many disputes in which the station is pronounced. Many have pronounced, and have done for many years, as r-oo-thven though only recently the station has been pronounced r-uth-ven as being done on loud speaker while arriving to the station. The pronouciation dispute continues.
