Ruth Orkin

Ruth Orkin (born 3 September 1921 in Boston, Massachusetts; died 16 January 1985 in New York City) was an American photographer.

Orkin is perhaps best known for her photograph, American Girl in Italy[1], taken in 1951. She died of cancer.
