Ruth Nelson

Ruth N. Nelson is the former head women’s volleyball coach at University of Iowa (1989-1990), Louisiana State University (1981-1984) University of Houston (1974-1981) and George Williams College (1970-1972).

In four seasons as head coach of the LSU Lady Tigers, Nelson compiled an overall record of 128-98, including a record of 8-3 in the Southeastern Conference.
