Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Ruth Elizabeth Neudorf, (November 19, 1923 - January 11, 2007) toured the world as a member of the Reg Kehoe and his Marimba Queens musical group. In 1946, Ruth married Charles Fritz Hauser, a young Naval officier whom she met on tour, and relocated to New York State.
