Ruth Elizabeth Barcroft (born in London on the 22 August 1973) is a journalist and presenter for BBC Radio Humberside, based in Kingston upon Hull. She works on the drivetime show with Steve Redgrave having previously presented the same show with Richard James. She also co-presented the Radio Humberside breakfast show with Andy Comfort from 2002-2004.

Ruth Barcroft has previously worked as a television reporter for Channel Five news, Central News South and Look North, where she briefly worked as news reader. Her freelance work has featured on BBC Radio 4's 'Home Truths', presented by the late John Peel and she has written articles for the Big Issue.
