Heya there, I'm Rusty :-) I'm 21 and a citizen of the United Kingdom, originally from Sunderland. I recently graduated from Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge, with Honours in History. As such I like to contribute to historical pages on Wikipedia. For examples, see Nian Rebellion, Mitrailleuse, Government of National Defense (damn American spelling!), Mineral Revolution, and Natal Native Contingent, which received substantial and much-needed contribution and renovation on my part. These, of course, are only examples of the history pages which I have edited!  :-) I also add little historical backgrounds to pages here and there, as well as contributing to a wide range of non-historical pages. I'm particularly pleased with the pages on Black Mesa Research Facility, The World State, and Brave New World. Check out my list of contributions! My interests are pretty varied - reading, cooking, bodybuilding, computer games, etc (at least when I'm not stuck doing overtime). My music taste is mainly RnB and Hip-Hop along with current chart. I couldn't live without curry  :-) I enjoy adding to my ever-expanding collection of tribal tattoos, and I'm particularly proud of my tattoos of the United Nations and League of Nations logos, and often wonder if I'm the only person on the planet to have this [2] as a tattoo! I'm a great fan of the X Files, Family Guy, The Royle Family, Futurama, The X Factor, and Keeping up Appearances, and I've recently discovered an affinity for Star Trek - with the exception of the Captain Kirk ones!

Politically I define myself as Liberal Democrat, and I am an unswerving advocate of Democratic World Government under a World Parliament, based on the model of the United Nations and the European Union. Religiously, I'm somewhat attracted to Buddhism. I'm an Aries and fit the definition to the letter! There's a lot to be said for astrology....

My life ambitions include: living in an apartment in Times Square, being able to speak Russian and Chinese, seeing the Great Wall of China, meeting Jodie Foster, going scuba-diving at Gutter Sound and the Great Barrier Reef, and meeting (preferably marrying!) my hero, Tyson Beckford.

My future career, starting in January 2007, is in International Development in Ghana, Cameroon, and Morocco for several years, and working to join the United Nations alongside that. Wish me luck!  :-)

Note I am now based in Kumasi, Ghana. Internet access is unreliable at best due to electricity rationing and the obsolete ex-Soviet satellite relay we have to use. Future contributions to Wikipedia will unfortunately be short and sweet!
