I removed a reference to Mr. Weiner being a Jew, from the topic sentence. If any citation can be provided for his faith, or other personal traits, it should be included in a separate paragraph. (at any rate, none has been yet, and Wikipedia forbids Original Research ). Pine 23:11, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Condisdering that Weiner's dad has repeatedly stated his own Russian Jewish background and heritage, I think it would be safe to assume that he is Jewish as well. But I guess it's a moot point since he is already listed under the categories "Jewish businesspeople" and "American Jews." --Potato dude42 (talk) 17:16, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
