Russel Latapy is an amazing player, at his age he still manages to be one of the best players in the world, creating the most chances on goal and strikes in 20 mins of play ever seen in a World Cup Finals. True greateness to the end is what I say to describe this player. Well done Latapy for all your years of service to Trinidad & Tobago well done Trinidad & Tobago for making us proud on the International world stage. One of the most memorable World Cup Finals and more, still to come. The world has only gotten a taste of what we have to offer, Trinidad & Tobago never to be forgotten!!

[edit] Birthday?

Two different birthdays are given in the article, August 8 in the lead and August 2 in the infobox. Any idea which is correct? Erath 11:45, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

>Most sources have his DOB as 02 August.

[edit] height

I seriously doubt that Russell Latapy aka "the little magician" is 183cm. Wouldn't that make him 6 ft tall? here is a pic of him standing next to Dwight Yorke who isn't so tall himself

>You appear to be correct. Most sources have him at around 5.5 ft. Well spotted.
