Russell Baze

Is one of the most talented jockeys in the history of horse racing. His work ethic is unbeatable and his talent unstoppable.

The statements in the article about Baze being the "leading jockey" in the United States need to be clarified. He might be leading jockey by wins, but he is not leading jockey by earnings. In fact on the front page of equibase.com (the official statistics source for U.S. thoroughbred racing), there is a listing entitled "North American Racing Leaders" for horses/jockeys/owners/trainers for 2006, and they are ranked by EARNINGS, not wins. (Baze is 24th as of Nov 17, 2006). So this needs to be clarified in the article. 18:47, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
