Rúsvel Alexis Saravia Mejía is a Salvadoran football (soccer) player, who currently playes for San Francisco F.C. in the Panamanian First division.
Saravia playes as a striker and was first spotted by San Francisco F.C. head coach Gary Stempel, when he was coaching C.D. Águila in El Salvador. At the time Saravia was playing in the Salvadoran third division with C.D. Los Andes, and was asked to trial was the San Miguel club, where he impressed Stempel and was offered a contract. Unfourtunatly, Saravia was unable to complete the transfer as both C.D. Águila and C.D. Los Andes could not come to an agreement as to how much the player was worth.
On January 17, 2008 it was announced that Saravia had signed with San Francisco F.C. on a two year contract after having impressed with C.D. Los Andes having scored 38 goals in the 2007 Apertura season.
