The Rusty-belted Tapaculo (Liosceles thoracicus) is a species of bird in the Rhinocryptidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Liosceles. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
