Rustin High School is a part of the West Chester Area School District in West Chester, PA. The newest high school of the district, named after local civil rights activist Bayard Rustin. Construction began in 2003. As a result, many district students at the end of the 2002-2003 school year had to redistrict to another school in the district, in order to have a direct path to the correct school so things wouldn't get confusing. The mascot is the Golden Knights. The school's colors are navy blue, and vegas gold.
Students who go to Stetson Middle School will feed into Rustin, along with high school students who were redistricted in 2003 and attended Henderson and East as 9th and 10th graders in 2006. The end of the 2008 school year marks Rustin's first graduating class.
