Russian Technology is a state corporation ("goskorporatsiya") of Russia which is classified as a non-profit NGO (non-government organization). It was originally created to help fuel future technological breakthroughs in Russia using funding from Russia's expanding oil stabilization fund. [1] With over a billion dollars in funding from the Russian government, Russian Technology is poised to become a major state corporation in Russia. Some analysts believe it is likely that Russian Technology will incorporate Rosoboronexport (the largest and only military arms exporter in Russia) into its assets.
