Russia national bandy team

The Russian national bandy team has managed to win the Bandy World Championships five times, in 1999, 2001, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Russia became a member of the Federation of International Bandy at the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, taking over the place of the Soviet national bandy team in the next world championship in 1993. Russia have never finished below 3rd in the championships.
